Earth Day is just around the corner and 2020 marks the 50th anniversary! My girls love to recycle and reuse things around the house (Gwen’s room is usually full of forts and experiments made from jars, boxes and other items she saves from the recycling bin). Earth Day is a great opportunity to work with your family to reduce, reuse and recycle to help keep Earth clean and healthy. I believe that instilling these important habits and lessons while the kids are young ensures they understand the impact their actions have on the world around them. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, we are sharing our free Earth Day Mini Unit with you today! This unit is geared toward Kindergarten-2nd grade. You can complete this mini unit in one day or add in the additional resources and media that I’ve shared below to extend this over several days.
